What Happens to the Money?

• Every single penny that a team raises will be added to the money raised by other Swimarathon teams.
• Teams may nominate a charity or community organization to receive 50% of their sponsorship money! (This is, of course, subject to criteria on the aims and nature of the recipient body.)
• The combined Rotary Clubs of Brigg, Scunthorpe & Scunthorpe Pentagon distribute ALL the money to charities and other good causes that provide benefit to people living in North Lincolnshire.
• Following the event charities and community causes apply to receive an award under the Swimarathon Charity Fund scheme. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO APPLY FOR FUNDING PLEASE CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FUNDING APPLICATION FORM.
• The funds raised by the teams in the 2025 Swimarathon will be donated to successful applicants by the three combined North Lincs Rotary Clubs at a public event on 13th June 2025.
• On the evening we will also present:

Most Money Raised by an all Junior Team; Most Money Raised by an Adult (including Juniors) Team; Most Original Team Name; Most Lengths Completed.
