North Lincs Rotary CIO; Charity No 1206034
- Teams of up to six swimmers book a lane to use on the day and will have 50 minutes to swim as many lengths as they can as a relay—one swimmer/one length at a time. No age or ability restrictions; you just need to be a safe swimmer!
- The team members find their own sponsors who pledge whatever they can.
- Because all of the overhead costs of running the event have been met by our generous sponsors (click here to view them) there are no entry fees and no minimum pledge!
- Team members collect their sponsorship money and pay the whole of the money to the Swimarathon Award Fund.
- Every team participating will receive a photograph/Certificate of Thanks quoting the amount that they pledged.
- Teams may nominate a LOCAL charity or good cause to receive 50% of their sponsorship money! Indeed, if they themselves would qualify as a local charity or good cause then they would be given 50% of the sponsorship money which they raised.
- Of course a team might also qualify to receive a further grant from what is left in the Swimarathon Charity Fund.
