North Lincs Rotary Swimarathon CIO; Charity No 1206034
The 2026 Swimarathon event will be held on Sunday 22nd March
Welcome to the Home Page of the North Lincs Rotary Swimarathon CIO.
Since 2018 the organization has raised tens of thousands of pounds for charities and good causes, all in North Lincolnshire.
Teams may apply to swim, in relay, for about 50 minutes. Each team member will obtain sponsors and teams may nominate a local ‘good cause’ to receive 50% of the sponsorship money it raises. The remaining funds will then be distributed amongst other community organizations and charities through the Rotary Swimarathon Award Fund scheme. Teams may even qualify for further grants in addition to the ‘swimming’ donations which they have already achieved.
Events like the Swimarathon are not easy to arrange, especially when the costs of pool time and administration are taken into consideration. Fortunately this Swimarathon has been helped by the generous sponsorship of North Lincolnshire Council, and of the many local businesses. This means that every penny which is raised by the teams is distributed by the Award Fund.

Our fifth Swimarathon in 2025 was yet another success. We have now fully evaluated the extent of the success . . . £14104!
