In total 30 teams swam 3304 lengths, which is the equivalent of about
82.6 Kms (51 miles) or about the distance from The Pods to Leeds.
The Senior team which swam more than anyone was The Lifeguards. They swam 194 lengths. The Beat Goes On were in second place with 164 lengths. The Junior Competition was a bit keener. Swimming 139 lengths was the 16th Scunthorpe Scout Group C, with the Scunthorpe Co-operative Junior Choir (Swimsemble) only just behind them on 129 lengths.
